Milwaukee BizTimes has named ESI a recipient of the 2009 IQ Awards. The IQ Awards honor innovative products, services, or processes developed by southeastern Wisconsin companies.
ESI received the IQ Award for the development of Environmental Systems University (ESU), a customized corporate training curriculum. Through ESU, ESI has proven to be an innovator for a company of its size in its industry, by focusing on employee development. “The skills and talents of the employees at ESI are what set the company apart from others in the industry,” said Paul Oswald, president of ESI. “Our people are creative thinkers, and they design innovative, cost-effective solutions to integrate and manage our client’s building operations programs.”
ESU is a corporate learning initiative that strives to provide an umbrella for developing and educating employees, customers, and suppliers. Rather than simply providing internal training programs, ESU engages the wider organization in continuous learning, professional growth, and organizational effectiveness.
